PRISM provided an incredible opportunity for Popular Music students in Television Reality Show

PRISM provided an incredible opportunity for Popular Music students Ananya Chandrashekar and Dilshad to participate in Suvarna TV’s highly anticipated Dream Star Reality show. Out of hundreds of participants who flocked to the auditions, their unique voices and charismatic stage presence distinguished them during the preliminary rounds, ultimately securing their spots in the competition. They were given vigorous training at PRISM, where they honed their skills under the expert guidance of renowned music composer Mahesh Mahadev and celebrated playback singer Priyadarshini. This training not only refined their vocal abilities but also instilled in them the confidence needed to perform on this big stage at the Innovative Film City, Bengaluru. 

Dream Star was not just any reality show; it was a yearlong project spearheaded by the Innovative Film Academy, India, aimed at uncovering hidden talents across Karnataka. This vibrant talent television show showcased a diverse array of highly energetic performers, featuring individuals who excelled in singing, dancing, and even mimicry, all hailing from various age groups. The show’s tagline, “where dreams come true,” resonated deeply with both contestants and viewers alike, encapsulating the essence of the program—a platform where raw talent could shine and be transformed into professional artistry.

The theme of Dream Star was built around the idea of giving aspiring artists a golden chance to showcase their talents to a broader audience, paving the way for potential careers in the entertainment industry. Contestants were not only given the opportunity to perform but were also immersed in a comprehensive training regimen facilitated by mentors who were professionals from the Kannada film industry. 

Throughout the auditions, Ananya and Dilshad, along with their fellow contestants, experienced a whirlwind of emotions—excitement, nervousness, and the thrill of competition. Despite facing various challenges designed to test their skills and resilience, the training provided by PRISM helped him secure a place in the quarter final.
