
PRISM Students Electrify Akaira Cultural Fest 2018 at Ramaiah University

Students from the PRISM Foundation’s music program were given an opportunity to display their talents at the vibrant Akaira Cultural Fest 2018, which took place at the Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in Peenya, Bengaluru. This occasion attracted a significant number of students, professors, and teachers enthusiastic to spend a day full of music, dancing, and cultural programs. PRISM students showcased their enthusiasm by singing songs in various languages, including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, emphasizing their commitment and versatility. Their performances showcased months of dedication and effort to mastering various styles and languages, making the event exceptionally memorable. The ambiance was electrifying and brimming with excitement as the spectators relished the various musical genres showcased by the youthful artists.
PRISM’s Managing Directors Mahesh Mahadev, a music composer, and playback singer Priyadarshini expressed their opinions regarding the students’ performances. They stated that the students had received rigorous training to get ready for this day. Mahesh Mahadev stated, “We provided them intensive training sessions that emphasized voice modulation, stage presence, and emotional expression, to aid them in performing with confidence.” Priyadarshini remarked, “Watching these enthusiastic students perform with such passion in various languages and confidence on stage truly filled us with pride.” Seeing their development and change in such a brief period was fulfilling.
The audience burst into applause following every performance, demonstrating their gratitude and respect. The environment was brimming with happiness, pride, and excitement. The event not only emphasized the students’ skills but also demonstrated the supportive atmosphere PRISM offers for aspiring musicians.
