
PRISM Foundation was officially inaugurated at the prestigious M S Ramaiah Educational Institutions

Bengaluru, May 11, 2014 –In the landmark event for music education, the PRISM Foundation was officially inaugurated at the prestigious MS Ramaiah Educational Institutions. Ram, the Director of Tecnicas Reunidas and Founder & Chairman of the Foundation alongside Sumathi, who serves as the Vice-Chairman PRISM inaugurated the school building.
The study facilities were also inaugurated on the occasion by musicians, music lovers and the PRISM family. The vocal training room was inaugurated by Classical Musician Mangalam Shankar. The Instrumental training room was opened by Mahadeva Rao and Manjula Jadhav, the Vice-Chairman of the Shivashakthi Group,
Sriram, the Founder and CEO of Sriram Health Products along with Vatsala inaugurated the other facilities.







The Chancellor of M S Ramaiah University and Chairman of Gokula Education Foundation, Dr. M R Jayaram, along with M J Shantaram, the Managing Director of Valdel Group, graced the occasion with their esteemed presence, adding a touch of prestige to the event. They conveyed their heartfelt best wishes on providing a space for music education inside their campus. Ismael Sancho Ferrando, the Director of Tecnicas Reunidas, along with a distinguished group of dignitaries from Spain, expressed their delight at the gathering, stating, “We are happy to see our colleague Mr. Ram, who is not only a remarkable Chemical Engineer but also a person of great integrity and vision. It is truly inspiring to witness him channel his passion for music into the establishment of a music foundation, which will undoubtedly enrich the lives of many and promote cultural exchange.”
“It is a great start for our music foundation; definitely, we will work in a different approach to take it to greater levels in the field of music education,” said Managing Director PRISM Foundation, music composer Mahesh Mahadev, with a sense of enthusiasm that resonated throughout the room. He continued, “Our vision is to not only impart technical skills but also to nurture creativity and innovation among our students. We believe that music education should be holistic, encompassing various genres, cultural influences, and modern technologies that can enhance the learning experience.”
Managing Director and playback singer Priyadarshini chimed in, emphasizing the unique opportunities the foundation presents. “We are fortunate to establish our school in a highly reputed Ramaiah University campus, which provides us access to an environment rich in academic excellence and innovation. Being a playback singer, I have come to give a different dimension in the field of music education. Our aim is to bridge the gap between traditional music practices and contemporary techniques, preparing our students not just for careers in music, but for lifelong engagement with the arts. Film music composer Venkat Krishi, Anitha Venkat, Carnatic vocalist MS Vidhya, along with individuals from the film industry, close relatives, and well-wishers, were also in attendance.
