Students Spotlight
My experience at PRISM was nothing short of transformative. Under the guidance of Priya Ma’am and Mahesh Sir, I spent around three years building the foundation of my musical journey. Even as a beginner, the exposure I received - from learning the fundamentals of Indian classical music to recording in studios, performing live, and collaborating on music videos - was truly remarkable.
What stood out to me most was their patience and genuine commitment to each student’s growth. You can feel, even in the way they teach, that they deeply want you to progress - not just as a musician, but as an artist with confidence and curiosity. Their approach combines technical training with creative exploration through exercises, songs, and interactions with guest musicians, creating an immersive learning experience that stays with you long after you leave the classroom.
All in all, my time and memories at PRISM were truly special. The lessons I learned there continue to inspire me, and I would relive that experience in a heartbeat if possible!
My Journey with PRISM Foundation
I joined PRISM at the Ramaiah campus in 2014, beginning with guitar classes. The atmosphere was warm and encouraging, which made learning music an enjoyable part of my routine. Later, I also took vocal lessons and had the privilege of being personally guided by playback singer Dr. Priyadarshini and music director Mahesh Mahadev.
While I didn’t pursue music professionally, my time at PRISM was a truly enriching experience. The sessions helped me develop a better understanding of music and gave me lasting memories of learning in a creative and supportive environment.
I’m thankful to my mentors and the entire PRISM team for their guidance and encouragement, and I wish them continued success in all their future endeavors.

PRISM Foundation really helped me a lot in achieving my goals, what I wanted to achieve in my vocal technique and all . Especially Priyadarshini mam and Mahesh sir are lovely teachers they understand your aim and what you wanted to achieve accordingly they deliver the teachings . I will say whatever I have done and in what level of singing I am in , is all because of them a big thanks to them as I came to them with no understanding of music and I left with good understanding of music , I got first prize in my college cultural fest (2 times) and I am currently enrolled in Bimm music institute learning more about western music so a big thanks to them and to prism foundation for making my basics strong .

I pursued the Popular Music course and also immersed myself in learning many soulful ghazals. Each lesson has opened new horizons, enriching both my understanding and my expression. Our child, Evan, has always shown a deep interest in music, and while living in Canada, we explored many options to find the right platform that could nurture his talent with the right guidance and structure.
